**Draft, to be reviewed before launch.**

## Picks and labels

Picks and coverage labels are our opinion, based on our published method and the evidence and public data available on the date shown on each page. Always check licenses, insurance and references yourself before you hire.

## Sponsored placements

Sponsored placements are always labelled and shown outside the picks.

## Quote requests

When you send a quote request, the businesses you tick receive your details and deal with you directly. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a business.

Neighborhood Picks

Good local businesses, picked one neighborhood at a time. Every pick shows whether the business is based here, regularly works here, covers the whole city, or hasn't shown us yet. We earn money from optional profile upgrades, clearly labelled neighborhood sponsorships and, when you ask for a quote, a fee from the businesses that receive it. None of that changes a pick or a label.
